This place was perfect for our climbing trip! The room was relaxing to come back to after a long day at the crag, the location is walking distance to all your needs in town, the host is incredibly friendly, and the complimentary breakfast is a huge bonus! Would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The service from everyone here was outstanding. Everyone is very welcoming and has done everything they can to ensure our stay was amazing.The rooms are a very high standard and cleaned well daily. The rooms have all the things required to be able to cook and eat in if you do not want to eat out.

This is the perfect climbing base, the rooms are modern, well-equipped and cleaned every day. The breakfasts are fantastic and Herre and Danielle are the perfect hosts. Have stayed here twice now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island.

Great place to stay, rooms are well though out and have anything you need, we came as a a large group and booked out most of the upstairs rooms and there are really nice communal areas for everyone to spend time together. Swingy seat on the balcony are very comfy

Herre and Danielle are the most wonderful hosts!! The apartments are really comfortable and well equipped, everything you might need for your stay has been thought of.Super comfy beds, fantastic shower and I love the swing chair on the balcony 😊Each day we had an amazing breakfast with as much coffee as you need! This was a great sociable way for our climbing group to start the day.We will definitely be back next yearThank you both 😊💕

Se stai cercando un posto dove pernottare a Kalymnos, dove trovare delle belle camere pulite e ben arredate con tutto il necessario (aria condizionata, Wi-Fi, terrazzo e cucinetta, ecc), dove iniziare la giornata con una ottima colazione con prodotti locali dolci e salati, e in una posizione strategica per girare l’isola ed eventualmente raggiungere l’isola di Telendos….beh, l’hai trovato. Gli Aphrodite Studios sono il “place to be” a Kalymnos!Super consigliato!Se a quello che ho scritto... aggiungete che Danielle ed Herre, i due proprietari, sapranno accogliervi con il sorriso e la loro gentilezza, oltre che con sapienti consigli per godervi la vacanza, avrete fatto bingo!Speriamo di tornare presto!read more

We stayed here in 2019 and were very impressed with owner's hospitality then and now.The refurbishment of the studios in 2020 has been done to a very high standard, with best point, in my view, being the addition of a large number of USB ports, allowing you to charge your devices without the need to use adapter plugs.Looking forward to my next visit.

Close to everything without being in the middle of tourist chaos. Very polite and helpful Dutch hosts that have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The only drawback is that if you have a car, it might be a little challenging to park close to the hotel (on weekends mainly)

Un accueil chaleureux ! Les chambres sont refaites à neuf. Fonctionnelles avec une petite kitchenette bien pratique .Le petit déjeuner est complet . Le Menage est fait tous les jours et c’est hyper propre ! Hêtre et Danielle vous donnent les bons conseils pour visiter ce petit bijou du Dodecanese.

The studio is situated in Myrties, providing a more peaceful atmosphere compared to Massouri. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including yogurt, bread, and coffee.

The BEST place to stay for a climbing trip in kalymnos. The owners are so friendly and this place is super clean. Air con. Quiet, easy to get a full 8hr sleep after a hard day of climbing. Plus there was always a space to park the car. 1min walk to super market and right next to a water fill station. And breakfast. Omg breakfast is SO DELICIOUS. pro tip. If you’re wondering where to book a place to stay, look no further you’ve found it.

Amazing place to stay in Kalymnos, near the climbing areas and the trekking routes, without the traffic and noise of the next village, Masouri. The owners are so housewarming and discreet at the same time, you'd love having them for friends. Recently renovated and adequately equipped with the necessary tools for easy meals' preparation. Extra points for the cleaning services!

An amazing place, owned by amazing people...Having spent half of my life in this island, in this very neighborhood and seeing what Herre and Danielle did with this place, only made me feel so moved. The rooms are stylish and beautiful, clean and equiped with everything you need. Ons verblijf hier had niet perfecter kunnen zijn.....De studio's zijn super mooi en schoon met alles (en zelfs meer dan dat) wat je nodig hebt. Wat heb ik ook genoten van de zalig zachte en heerlijk ruikende handdoeken. (De kleine details zijn vaak het fijnste...) Wij werden hier met open armen ontvangen door de super leuke en lieve Herre en Danielle en voelden ons meteen thuis.Elke ochtend ook heerlijk ontbijt, perfect verzorgd en lekker (heel lekkere koffie ;) )De ligging van de studio's... in Mirties is ook echt perfect, vlakbij strand, supermarkten, restaurants en ferry naar Telendos.Ons verblijf hier staat voor ons (en wij reizen vrij vaak) met stip op nummer 1!!!!!!read more

We came here to Kalymnos for our Honeymoon. We made the BEST choice by staying at Aphrodite Studios. Thank you very much Herre and Danielle for making our stay way better! And thank you very much for all your suggestions.Our room is super clean, super beautiful and very well decorated. The view is amazing. The terrace is amazing. The breakfast is super delicious. Walking distance to amazing beaches. We want to come here again and stay at this amazing hotel.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Not only was it one of the best places to stay in Kalynmos, it has been one of my favorite stays me and my partner had every been to on a climbing trip. After a less then desired stay at a cheaper hostel (think ants, mold and aggressive service) we decided to spend a little extra on the nice hotel we have been driving by on our trips to the crag. The owner Hera was kind, accommondating and hilarious. He works nonstop to make the stay the best possible. The... room was brand new, clean and stylish. The breakfast, served everyday, was tasty, healthy and ending up saving us money in the long run. They made the last two weeks of our trip easy so we could focus on the challenge of climbing Kalynmos' steep limestone. Thanks guys!read more

Aphrodite Studios along with Herre & Danielle have been another highlight of my one-week climbing trip to Kalymnos! Both hosts were very welcoming and it was a pleasure to have met them!The room was very clean, the shower's water pressure/temperature could be adjusted as required, the bed was very comfortable - which was crucial after a hard day's climb - the balcony and outside rocking chair were exactly what was needed to enjoy the sunset hours (if you happened to be in the room).The... location is perfect as it is right next to a supermarket (1min walk) and all other hotspots/restaurants are close by - ideal for an evening stroll (5-15min walk). It is away from the hustle and bustle (noise) of the touristy area in Masouri and easily accessible by car, as the road is open from both directions.Highly recommended to all travellers!! 💯🧗🏻🐬🌞P.S. - The breakfast is not to be missed! 😉👌read more

I stayed a week in Kalymnos for climbing. It was my first trip to Greece and it was a bit challenging to find all the needed information so I highly appreciated Danielle and Herre's support from planning the trip to my arrival in their B&B. I felt immediately welcome, they were always there to provide any information and recommendations or for a casual chat at the end of the day.The rooms had all been renovated: I had a large room, decorated with taste, sparkling clean, with a big balcony and... a swing chair _now I need one!_.And the location was great! Away from the busy street and yet a few minutes from the supermarket, shops and restaurants, the beach and my all time favorite, the departure of the boat to Talendos!Danielle and Herre paid special attention to the breakfasts which on top of being delicious was a moment of conviviality and such a nice way to start your day.I definitely recommend Aphrodite Studios for travellers who look for a comfortable accomodation and hosts with a great sense of hospitility!whereread more

(October '19) Very clean and airy rooms, great breakfast and terrific coffee! Danielle and Herre are amazing hosts, extremely nice and helpful, always ready to give you some nice suggestions. The location is pretty good too, it's close to the harbour where you take the ferry to Telendos, and is not as crowded and hectic as Massouri (although it is just a short walk away so you never miss out on the restaurants and shops). All in all a great stay, definitely recommend Aphrodite Studios.

I recently stayed at the Aphrodite Studios on Kalymnos and was very pleased with the accommodation. The rooms were large and very clean and the hosts, Herre and Danielle were lovely. Nothing was a problem ... they were always there to help in any way.Breakfast was plentiful and it was nice to be able to chat with other guests on the terrace. I would certainly stay there again if I ever get back to Kalymnos.

Our trip was primarily to enjoy some rock climbing on the Island of Kalymnos and Telendos! The hosts of Aphrodite Studios were a wonderful couple and I felt part of their life in Kalymnos each day. They made the experience great.Every day we had a breakfast that was so nicely prepared and fueled us for the days adventures.The location was great; quiet on the street, plenty of shade to sit under each morning and evening patio to enjoy card games with our friends. We could walk to the beach... and the local market along with all the main restaurants.The rooms were clean and well kept and our we slept comfortably.read more
